Founder of Cosmic Citizen Trainings, Cristina Star is a Buddhist and interdisciplinary scientist with a degree in Physics from UC Berkeley and graduate work in climate physics at University of Michigan. She has done research in mass extinctions, climate change, isotope geochemistry, river biochemistry, and observational astronomy. Star is currently finishing her Masters thesis in Space Policy exploring applying Benefit based business models to space companies and government policy. Her passion is training the capabilities and interconnected worldview required for healthy, aligned and ethical living, on Earth and beyond. She is the Environmental Task Force Lead for The Human Space Program, an advisor to SETI Institute and IONS, and the lead facilitator for SpaceKind Leadership Training.

We look forward to hearing Cristina’s perspective on how we might best prepare the next generation for humanity’s future in space.
