Effects of The Extreme Environment of Space on Humans

This session is about experiments exploring the effects of the extreme environment of space on humans. It also include the history of the Institute of Biomedical Problems, and the importance of such research for deep space flights.

Anastasia Stepanova is a PhD candidate in Space Resources at Colorado School of Mines, crew member of the international space projects "Mars-160" and "SIRIUS-19", the first female test subject in the experiment "Dry Immersion", engineer, and space journalist.
