Incorporating the VLA and Radio Astronomy into the Classroom
National Radio Astronomy Observatory proudly supports local and national education and student organizations by offering a variety of resources that can be tailored to specific topics and age groups. Through NRAO’s engaging activities, simulations, tours, and discussions, students are introduced to the tools and techniques astronomers use to observe distant objects, by offering a glimpse into the invisible universe, revealing how radio waves unveil celestial secrets. This session will give participants a virtual tour of the VLA and an overview of NRAO's educational resources.
